From the Principal (Issue 11, 2021)

Dear Parents and Caregivers
After an extremely busy term, I know that staff and students alike are ready for the spring break.
Year 12s
However, our Year 12s who are studying ATAR subjects have their Trial Examinations in the second week of the school holidays and we wish them all the best in their endeavours to do well.
Farewell
It is always with sadness that we farewell students and staff at the end of a term. To those families who are moving on from Frederick Irwin Anglican School, we wish you all the best for the future.
The following staff members have come to the end of short term contracts:
• Mrs Carole Hodder – Deputy Principals’ Assistant
• Miss Samantha Summerson – Year 3 Meadow Springs
• Mr Greg Wheeler – Mathematics
We thank them for the work they have done with our students and wish them all the best for the future.
Two long-term staff members have resigned as of the end of Term 3:
• Mrs Lyn Beacham – Deputy Principals’ Assistant
• Mrs Kelly Flugge – Uniform Shop Assistant
Both of these staff members have given considerable service to Frederick Irwin Anglican School and we wish them all the best for their retirement.
Three staff members will be on Long Service Leave in Term 4. We wish them a restful time and will look forward to their return next year.
• Mr Peter Ford – Primary Physical Education Meadow Springs
• Mrs Dianna King – Secondary Learning Enrichment Coordinator
• Mrs Carol Money – Administrative Assistant
Finally, we have one staff member going on Maternity Leave and we wish Mrs Jayne Warren and her partner much joy as they await the birth of their child.
School Holidays
To all of our school community – we hope that these school holidays are refreshing. We look forward to welcoming back our students and staff at the start of Term 4.
